Privacy isn’t a feature bolted onto Newsbin; it’s the reason it’s built the way it is.

What Newsbin doesn’t do

• No ads. Nothing in your timeline is sold to advertisers.
• No tracking. Newsbin doesn’t build a profile of you or follow you around the web.
• No algorithm. You see what you subscribed to, in order, not what an engagement model decides.

Where your data lives

Your library syncs through your own iCloud account: feeds, folders, tags, smart groups, and read state all move between your devices via Apple’s iCloud. It doesn’t pass through a Newsbin server, and there’s no third-party account to create.

On-device intelligence

The optional summary and top-story features run on whichever engine you choose. With Apple Intelligence they process on your device. If you add your own API key, requests go directly from your device to that provider, billed to your account with them. Either way your reading is never uploaded to us, and we never see it. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what each feature sends and where.
